Just curious as to what kind of 0-60mph or 1/4 mile improvements can be seen with a Quazilla or Edge giving 60hp or 100hp settings.

What can I say... I'm looking to beat my co-workers Titan eventually. :)

Anyone got any rough guesses?

Since the Data Link is gone on the '06, you will probably have to go with an EZ, at least until Quad puts out an updated box. Same goes for the Edge Juice.

Why not go with a TST? You won't have to buy twice.

I would have to guess in the 8 second range (0-60 time) with auto and 80hp added

Based upon Bankpower.com and what I read there

I've been frightened from TST due to everyone saying the power has so much possibilities that I'll be upgrading all the stock parts, new turbo, etc.

I'm just looking for a mild box probably at 60hp increase most of the time... for now. If I get the TST or something I'm afraid I'll be dropping my whole wallet before I'm ready.

I just put on the quadzilla xtz, on my 05 3500 4X4. I dont know the actual distance but I have some numbers.

distance 1 (less then 1/4 mile)

stock 62 MPH quad 69 MPH

Distance 2 (real close to 1/2 mile)

stock 88 MPH quad 96 MPH

keep in mind I have a a heavy flat bed, full of fuel/tools I way a little over 9000#.

I have only ran a few tanks of fuel but I have not really seen any differance in fuel economy.

JC,

How pleased are you with the XZT then? Does it definitely feel like a good power improvement and worth the money?

Any cruise control problems?

Thanks for the help!

Yes, I think it was worth the money. I sometimes wish I would have gone with the adjustable one. There is a seat of the pants differance.

BUT I only have the ford powerstroke chips to compare it to. I have driven powerstrokes since 97 (twelve of them). I have upgraded most of them with a ts performance chip or a superchips powertuner. The seat of the pants power increase in them was much greater then the seat of the pants improvement in my dodge/xtz. I did not upgrade my last 04 powerstroke sick'o. It was in the shop plenty without any add ons. So all the powerstrokes I upgraded were 7. 3's.

I have not had any issues with it. Cruise works fine. And hooking it up was a breeze. Takes all of about 10 minutes. I like that, it will be easy and quick to remove if need be.

I bought the Edge Juice/Atttude Combo version 2

And could not be happier, it has 5 settings on the fly, plus it looks stock with the a pillar mounting. To me the fit and finnish is important. It took me a few hours (mostlty because I was cautious with mounting the pyrometer, I am not a mechanic). But it worked out great and looks OEM. I am getting at least 3 GPM better than stock, if I keep my foot off the petal. When I get on it she still runs at 16. 5 mpg. I don't know the speed dif. but I know on level 4 and 5 it's a hell of alot faster.

I do not have any personal experiance with others like quad, banks, or tst (and I am sure they are more than capable) but from all the reading I have done on the posts I have never seen anyone unhappy with the Edge or anyone that has said Edge blew my Cummins. Since you could be screwing your power train warrantee, the extra money might be worth it.

Well I just put my Quadzilla XZT on my 2006 an hour ago! Woohoo! First power mod I've made.

I only drove it around for 15 minutes so far, so I'll post in a thread later tonight after some test driving to give the final verdict. I'll try to get some rough 0-60 improvements also. No hard #'s, but I can give ya a pretty darn good idea.
