Quadzilla Xillaraider XZT series

Has anyone used or heard of anyone using the model "DXZT2"? this unit doesn't have the adjustments like the "DXZCR2S" does.

"The XZT modules are non-adjustable and add up to 65hp and 165 ft lbs of torque increase. You can expect mileage gains of 1-4 mpg. "



I think I may just try this model, I don't care about trying to find a place to mount that adjustment knob anyway.

I have one on my truck. My mileage before the box avreaged 16. 85 and after the box is 19. 9. The overhead is a little more optimistic and was showing 22+. As far as the power is concerned, today I made a big mistake. While waiting at an intersection for traffic to clear and I thought it had, I made a left turn only to find a car behind the pillar between the windshield and the front door. with no other choice I nailed it, the pavement between the lanes was a little damp and befor I got it straight again I was in 5th gear and 60 something mph. The tires were spinning through 3rd and 4th gears and yes the LS was working fine. I didn't think the michelens would smoke like that. Scared the poop out of me, I thought i was going to get another new truck.

just instaled xzt on my calif so model. and wow awsome milage and really powerful. the rep said since i have a calif so model i should get 70 hp or so. all i know is it's really hard to keep the tires from spinning in any watter. if you do get traction you may need a neck brace! according to the over head my SO gets aproximatly 31 mpg over a 5 mile corse running 60 mph. how real that number is i don't know i do know that with out the xzt under the same curmstances i would het arround 25 mpg. i love it! get it and you won't regret it.

quad and waranty

What exactly is the scoop with all of the chips ?Do they all void the waranty? I am interested in the quad xzt also ? When I bought my truck my dealer put me in touch with a guy who Ithought was afiliated with the dealer and He was trying to sell me a chip and other aftermarket products.

I have had trucks in for service at dealer that had been running the Quad line of xzillaraiders and neither Dealer or Star could trace them being there.

What does the XZT plug into? Any thoughts if it is the same thing as having the other adjustable boxes set on 60?

Dhill, what is an 05. 5? I'm curious what changes you're trying to denote by splitting the model year.



98. 5 > 24v

01. 5 > Disc brakes

04. 5 > 600

05. 5 > ???

My '05. 5 has a G-56. I think that is the only mechanical change in January.
