Since I've gone back to work, I'll probably only be going for the week-ends.
I, usually, camp just south of the 99 mile marker, going south of town on Hwy. 95. There is a "free camping area" on the West side of the highway. You can't miss it. All of a sudden, there are tons of RV's. There is a dirt road (gas-line service road) that is the northern boundry of the "free camping area". Anything south of gas-line road is free. You will be about 4-5 miles south of Quartzite, at this point. There are other "free camping areas" located about 5 miles, in any direction, outside of Quartzite.
There is a nice, large, flat area about 5 miles north of town that is free, also. It is at a highway intersection going to Bouse, AZ. (on my map, that hwy. is not numbered). I've never camped there but, there is nothing about it that would keep me away.
I'm really looking forward to going, again. This is like Disneyland for RV'ers.
