Hello friends,

the 03 itch is getting bad:rolleyes: and i have a few questions.

those w/6 spd can u go from 2dn to 4th to 6th and only use three gears w/o a load? (yes i know no h/o 6 spd in cal but las vegas here i come)

In regards to the steering on a 4X4. Looked at one briefly yesterday and didn't notice any difference to my 01 what makes them steer better than my current CTD

Thanks for your time w/ my itching problem:D

Dan yes you can skip gears on the 6sp. the new ho has so much torque it will handle no problem without a load. I do it all the time when driving these trucks on the lot. GREG;)

About the Steering....

They did something to "box" in the ends (..... technical void..... ) for better support & also made the steering ratio quicker (less input required to turn).

Also a new steering gear with lower internal friction.

Whatever they did, it is a completely different experience from the pre-03's.

I drove one again yesterday, man I want one. The steering is better than my GMC, I don't know how they did it but they did it very well. I'm just waiting for you guys to bomb them so I know what to expect, come on guys hurry up. I want to know how much hp you can get out of just a box and how much hp the new auto will hold. It would be real hard to leave the power I have now, 14. 43 @ 94. 91 in 2wd with a 2. 28 60', but those new Dodges are just built so well. I'm going back to Dodge as soon. Wife hates my GMC, louder in the cab than my 01 Dodge was, and the seats could kill a guy and they ride rough compared to new 03 Dodge. I knew I wanted the 6 speed, now I'm not sure.
