Sorry to stray off topic, but I meant no offense with referring you as 4bt man. When I reply I like to address the member, (GL, Alan, DP, Philip etc) be it by name, abbreviation, initials or nickname, but I don't know your name and didn't see it in your thread. I didn't feel like typing out 'dieselcruiserhead', so it was either gonna be 'dch' or '4BT man', which I hold in the highest regard. I think its awesome that you shoehorned a 4bt in a Landcruiser. I've have a ton of respect for you because of that. I'm no expert. I've just learned a few things from being a TDR member now for a few years. I owe all my tidbits of information or knowledgedieselcruiserhead said:I did not like being addressed as "4BT man" because I am not some idiot or an amateur mechanic and I don't like being talked to like I'm sort idiot, because of my post count or because I am not a Bosch VE pump expert.

Now that all thats out of the way, I've read you can try to spray pb blaster or wd down in the afc bore to try to free up the afc pin. While picking at it from inside the afc bore with a pic. Pic, and pb, back and forth.
Greenleaf must not want to type, but he can explain the R&R of the fuel pin. I probly could but it would be so vague that I'd probly loose respect from some of the newer members that think I know something :-laf .
