I ordered my gauges and the three gauge pillar replacement from bullydog this morning. After some searching on here I found the part #'s 5244 and 4365 for the thermocouple and pyrometer in the ultra lite series. The guy I talked to said the part number 4344 is the same gauge and comes with a thermocoupler. I was less money and he recommended it so I went with it. Are any of you familiar with this number and if the thermocouple is right?
Thanks

Lee, I've got an Autometer catalog and here are the part #'s listed in the ultra light series.
4345= 2 1/16 dia, Street Series 600-1600 deg w/ probe ( I believe this one is not for Diesel use)
4365= 2 1/16 dia, 0-1600 deg, w/o probe. ( I have this one w/ 5244 competition probe)
4465= 2 5/8 version of 4365
4466= 2 5/8 dia, 600-1600 deg. w/o probe.
The part # you listed is not in this catalog, hopefully the above info will help.

4344 is a valid number in the new catalog. It's the first pyro Autometer has released without the box. It's a direct wire like the Isspro's.

What do you mean by direct wire? How is it different from the 4365 with the 5244?

And what do you mean without the box?

I installed the Autometer Ultra-lites. I really like them. I replaced the standard clear bulbs with BLUE bulbs. The changed color just a little and match the stock gauges very will!

Check out the following on Autometer gauges and part numbers.

The 4365 is considered an electrical gauge. It comes with an interface box. The pyro and power are run into this box, then there is another set of leads that goes to the gauge itself. It's also more expensive becuase of the electronics.

In your '99 catalog, look at the upper pic on pg 58. It looks something like that.
