i didn't have any problem getting the cap off or restarting.

questions:

i used a little grease on the o-ring to get the cap to turn smooth. is grease ok?

how do you get a troque wrench back in there when putting the cap back on? long extension with a swivel? i didn't use a torque wrench. i just snugged it back down.

comments?

thanks. scott.

I just snug it down also. Don't like the idea of grease. No need for it and its not supposed to be there. Probably won't harm anything, I would be very carefull not to get stuff in the fuel system.

I'm with everyone else... use a little fuel to lube it. I cut the top off a milk jug and use that to catch the fuel when I drain it. That provides the source of fuel.

I use a 10 or 12 inch extension, but no swivel.

Same here. I also slid a section of 3/4 garden hose over the drain hose so that it doesn't run over the axle.
