I have found that the Banks EB on my 2001.5 working in a more reliable manner vs my new 2015. With auto's the EB works a lot better in tow haul. Example, getting off an exit running bobtail without TH is will work in the gear I was in when exiting, then sort of goes away. In TH it shifts down as I cost to a stop.

TH and EB max on ALL the time works best for me. I have gotten used to letting off at the right distance from a light. I barely use my service brakes.

Mine works even if i haven't pushed any boost out of the turbo. But i have the manual transmission. Wondering if it requires the automatics to warm up before engaging?

I don't think warming up is the issue as it has been warm when I have tried.
It doesn't seem to work till I've accelerated once. Then it is perfect...

Mine will drop down through the gears using the E/B all the way to 2nd at least without T/H. So the only time I use T/H is when towing.

When it's in T/H and if in 6th, it'll skip 5th and drop straight to 4th and then continue the down shifting around the same speeds as without T/H but a whole gear lower. It's actually too aggressive for us when not towing. I'll be rolling up to the stop with over 2000 rpm on the tach. Unless I stop short.
