As soon as the twins get in I am considering a set of F1 nozzles. This has probably been beaten in the ground but what is the piston top looking like after say 200,000 miles. It seems our engines are somewhat sensitive to spray patterns because there are still those out there that are gun-shy to run these or any EDM injector. So what is the general consensus about running multi-hole injectors. It is obvious that the results on the Dyno are great but what about engine longetivity. I am sure that Don has done his homework but lets hear what the fellow members have to say. :)

I would think if anything having more nozzle holes to move the same amount of fuel would be better for the piston than the stock units. The main concern would be whether or not the spray angles are correct, which I'm quite confident are accurate and correct on the F1 units. I would say the same goes for DD's Jammers, I know DD does their homework before they release new products.

If I am not mistaken part of the R&D process with the F1s involved removing the head after testing subject injectors after some miles and hard runs were accumulated, to verify no heat deterioration to the piston crowns.

Chipstien,my truck is at ADT for twins, head work and exhaust. I had a conversation with Doug about the EDM injectors as I thought I should replace my DD2's at this time. Doug has done testing on both, give him a call. Dave
