This may be a VERY stupid question, but I have to ask since I want to put stacks on my rig.

When it rain and snows, how do I / we keep the element out of the exhaust? Does it hurt anything..... Feedback please.

Thanks! ;)

It doesn't hurt anything. it might cover the back of the truck w/ soot after it rains.

You could prevent any water from coming in the stacks with the usual buckets or cans covering the stacks but its not really worth the effort IMO.

Or if you are really worried you could just put a 1'2 hole at the bottom of the stacks where they come together and put a bolt in there. then just unscrew it when it rains and drain the water... couple of my buddies did that because they were worried about that.

On my stacks the majority of the water drains through the connections on the flex pipe, however there is still enough water in there to speckle everything in the bed black.

It doesn't really matter to me because if it's raining I consider the truck dirty anyway.
