This is mostly for Brian Roth.

I just read the ad in the back of TDR32, (Nice ad I must say) and I see that even with the X stator you are still using the pressure lock on your trannie kits. I am not trying to start a flame war in any way between you and Bill. I am just trying to get some information, and I dont want this to turn into a pi..... contest. Here is the question.

With the added effiency of the stator, why are you still using the pressure lock? Why cant you put the power to the ground in fluid coupling just like every other transmission out there? The Dodge Ram seems to be the only vehicle out there where people try to use TC lockup to put the power to the ground, thus creating wear, and eventually damage. Why do you still need TC lockup if your stator can do the job in fluid coupling? Seems like using fluid coupling would negate the need for added clutch surface material.


BTW, I still have the stock TC, and I think it suc$$
