Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) question about timing tools

I am putting together a timing kit , the only thing I'm missing is the screw in length adapter for the gauge [ I've got a bunch of gauges ] , what I need to know is what is the length of that foot that screws in the gauge ?

Hi John,

The length you need will depend on a few variables. The height of the adapter you use for the delivery valve holder, how high it holds the dial indicator, the length of the pin on the dial indicator. Unless you have copied someones kit exactly, knowing the pin length will not guarantee a setup that works. It might be easiest for you to try your setup and measure the required length yourself.
