Hey guys, i need some help. My truck shipped from St. Louis on the 13th of this month #ad
. I called DC and got the rail car # and was told my truck was going to be shipped to Louisiana, and then driven by truck to the dealership here in Texas. I took the rail car # and tracked it online( it's coming on UP), and it showed to have arrived in Moscow,Tx. Below that it stated it was scheduled to arrive in Louisiana on the 24th. Does that mean my truck is going to leave here and go to Louisiana, just to turn around and come back or will it leave from Moscow,Tx and head towards my dealership in Fairfield, TX?
P. S. Anyone ever heard of Moscow,TX????????

<font color=blue>Ever heard of Cut'n'Shoot, Texas? #ad

All DaimlerChrysler vehicles west of the Mississippi River are shipped by Union Pacific Railroad.

Gimmie your car # and I'll track it from work and find out where it is.

Oh ya, I work for UP #ad

San Antonio being as big as it is I would imagine there is an auto facilty nearby? I can't look that up very easily tho, Houston would be closer to drop off the truck and have it shipped to San Antonio, rather then sending it to Lousiana. Just doesn't make sense... ... Anyhow gimme your Car number. <font size=-2>

I have not only heard of it,I have been through cut-shoot,TX. before. It is kinda northeast of Houston. I know how that guy feels. My truck sat at the rail yard for a week in Houston waiting for a transport to bring it to Texas City. Nov. of 97,I told the dealer let's go get it. He said we couldn't. It was 30 miles one way where it was at.

There is a Chrysler auto ramp at Spring Texas, but also one at SA. Car may have been bad ordered at Cut 'n' Shoot or Moscow. Eric would have details on that.

Sorry having a very busy day here at work... .

Anyhow that railcar left Lufkin, TX feb 20 at 1400. And according to the schedule it is going to Lousiana, why? I have no idea... don't make sense... but thats where its headed. Its "scheduled" to be at its final "rail" destination Feb 22nd at 1100. I'll look again here in a bit see when it hits Lousiana.

thanx for the info. I can't understand why my truck would come to Texas, leave Texas, and come back to Texas. Would anybody be able to tell me how long it usually takes to get the vehicle after it leaves the rr and boards the truck?

I waited about a week just to have the motor truck carrier load it and bring it down to Oregon.
When you are so close and yet so far it is frustrating.
Hope you get it soon so the fun can begin.
