I am doing a "pre fit" before actual install and have noticed there is no way to get gauge brackets on or connecting the spade connectors for lights and was wondering if you need to trim the underside to open the area up. Anyone that has installed this pod have any tips I could use.

Thanks

I did have to trim the back of mine for one of my guages to fit. The holes were tight enough that I didn't need the brackets - I can't even turn mine when they are installed.

The studs on the back of the gauges were in my way. I was not impressed with that pod so I took it down. Way too much weight, it always fell, it never sealed up and there is so much wire to hide underneath the headliner.

As far as the spade connectors, just get the 45' angled ones
