Question: anyone know if the truck bed shape, size is different between the 14 and 17

I need to fit a LEER hard top cover on my 2017 from a 2014
My truck is a mega cab with a short bed and the sellers truck is a short bed
Both are silver which I suppose is the same paint code for those years

Get your tape measure out. I believe the Mega bed is 6" shorter that the "regular" short bed.

I would use this site to answer your questions on the bed! This is the Ram Body Builder site that will provide information on your bed dimensions. In the middle of the page click on the drop-down menu and pick your year of truck. Than at the bottom on the RH side is the box drawings charts for each box size. This will answer your questions correctly.

JHawes is correct......all HD (2500 & 3500) beds are the same in either the long or short versions. Some of the 1500 series trucks have different sizes, however.
