Question for 05 owners

I just noticed that the "Dodge" is not on my tailgate. However there is the Rams head under the latch. Did the trucks not come with the "Dodge" or did it get removed by the dealer. It hasn't been stolen or anything but I'm just curious.

No Dodge nameplate on mine either. They're constantly changing badging on these trucks so it's hard to keep up with what they're doing. You can get one at Geno's Garage though if you want one. http:www.genosgarage.com I'm leaving mine alone. Don't want my warranty voided because of an add-on nameplate .

It’s a different font for the 'HEAVY DUTY' as well, was thinking of de-badging mine, but its kinda growing on me.

I didn't notice the Dodge missing and the Heavy Duty at first. I agree, the HD is growing on me.

'05's they changed it, No Dodge on tailgate, only the RAM's head. Didn't really like it as well at first either, but it has grown on me. Probably will put a 5th wheel tailgate on this spring anyway, so it won't matter.

de-badged mine including rams head and RAM 2500 on doors. Cant belive its crome plastic on a $40,000 plus truck. Next step a three pointed star?
