Got a transmission shield question. I have gotten fed up with broken 904/999 transmisions. I have killed a few trannies and broken my second torque converter snout now. Turbo Action is going to switch my converter over to a 727 one so I can go that route.
Question. The dragstrip here has actualy started to follow IHRA rules for tech. So when I get my new motor done(it runs 11. 60s now motivation to take it apart is kinda hard to get at the moment) I should be well into the 10s on the juice which I will need a shield for. Has anyone ever tried the CSI carbon fiber trans shield in an A-body?? Did it fit the floor pan without major mods? If no one has tried that what kind have you used and did it fit? I am really not interested in cutting the floor up on my Formula S. I am in no means an originality freak but thats alot of work lol. I hope the 727 doesn't slow me down to much!! Thanks for any input that may be posted!
