I have a 3500 4x4 and would like to run a double shock mount. I have lokked at SKYJACKERS and it is nice but the one I would like to run is from FABTECH. I like the look and I have used there products in the past and know they have great build quility. They list there mount as for a 1500, and other places for a 1500-2500. I can not see why it will not fit the 3500, they all share the same type front end. I have looked at mine and it seems like there is plenty of room between the back of the tires and where it would mount. Have any of you guys seen this mounted on a 2500 or 3500? Have any experience with this part? See any problems with it's use on a 3500? Let me know what you think, this is the shock mount

Ok well I can see there isn't much help in here, What no one uses there 4 wheel drive? Ok what ever, I decided to go with the FABTECH double shock mount, I will make it work!... UHA. Also I am goig to run BILSTEIN's 5150 resivor shocks, all six of them. Fronts will be 170/70 valveing, and the rears 360/70 . I removed the old and smaller air lift bags, and my overload springs, will now mount AIR LIFT's super duty bags, and RANCHO traction bars (used the ones for a 90 chevy long bed). Also I am switching all the rubber bushings out to poly ones. For a little front end protection, I have a BUCKSTOP bumper on the way, and bought the MILEMARKER 1200lb winch to stuff it with, still looking for lights. Also got new ALCOA hot shot wheels to mount my new TRXUS 255-85-16 mud tires to, and while I was at it, I bought enought LED lights to replace every stock light on the truck, hope it makes it brighter.

I regularly wheel mine at the sand dunes but haven't found it necessary to go to double shocks. I believe Rancho is making a dual shock mount now that mounts both shocks outside the coil which would make replacing them in the future easier - not that it's real hard now.

I take it you mean SILVER LAKE right? I have been going there since about 1976. We have run everything from trucks, buggies, atv's, and motorcycles. Feel in love with the place at the age of about 12-13. It hasn't changed that much over the years, maybe just a little tighter saftey restrictions, and thats a good thing.
