Great looking wheels, pipes and lights! Have you done the side-pipe modification before on a red 2nd gen? I thought I had seen someone do this a few years ago on this site.

Those reverse lights look like a perfect fit!

No, It was the first set of sidepipes I ever made! Sure was a lot of work. If I build them again, I will make them out of stainless. Then I can polish out the scratches every few moths, after stepping on them.

Garry, I saw the back of your truck in town a little while back. Thought I recognized those lights in the bumper.

Nice work on the side pipes, I agree about the stainless idea.

I hear that, it almost killed me to take mine up and down the coq this winter, oh well, every trip was a new shade of brown.

You're an excavator operator right? And you're working 7 days a week in this economy? I want to know your secret. I made the mistake of leaving a company in the fall right before the recession and now can't find a local operating position around here. The way things are I might be going up to the oil sands as they have a couple openings.

I've bought some smaller iron to keep me busy doing landscaping jobs etc. I am having a harder time kepping my 200 and 225 excavators busy right now. It does look like things are starting to turn around in the near future though! Is there still anything promising in Alberta?? I thought most of that stuff was on hold now intil oil prices go up.

From what I am hearing there is a lot less going on in Alberta now than there used to be, but I've been applying my arse off anyways for out there, something is bound to open up sooner or later, I'm just tired of waiting for it to pick back up here. Also Saskatchewan is now running pretty good I hear, and I've been putting my name in there. What we really need is ft st john to get going strong, a good strong northern BC economy could do this province a lot of good to bring money in without over inflate the lower mainland economy more than it already is.

Let me know if you find any work. If you do, maybe we could work out a deal. When looking for an operating position, also ask if they would like you to supply a new 200 or 225 Hitachi with you as operator. I'd work something good out for you if there was at least 4-6 months steady work for the machine. Wages for you, plus profit sharing??

Good luck!

Garry
