I was just curious how much power service everyone uses per tank. The bottle said to use 16 oz per 50 gallons, so I put right around half the bottle in.

I buy this stuff at Walmart, cheapo. Can't say that I notice any differences with using it, but gotta think it does something. I typically use 8ozs, same as NDaniels. You can get a gallon container at Wally-world and it's like $14-15. Supposed to treat up to 300 gallons.

I have read that a mixture of 16 oz. of Power Service and 8 oz. of Marvel Mystery Oil is great for the cetane boost AND lube for the vp44 inj. pump. With the ultra low sulfer diesel fuel now widely available, prolly not a bad idea to boost the lube in the fuel even though the refineries now add some extra to negate the effects of the much lower sulfer content. I use 16oz of Power Service and 8oz of Marvel. Most call it Snake Oil, but I figure it really doesn't cost that much and it can't hurt.

I prefer red line it did me well in my ford for 163,000. but it got too expensive and hard to find. a tdr member recommended PS and marvel mystery oil. so i premix cocktails for 20 gallons in those bottled water bottles everyone has. i put 6 1/2 oz of PS with 8 oz of mmo. if i take more than 20 gallons i take some from another bottle. i try to keep the top half of the tank, full less condensation if it sits.

I use 8 oz PS and 8 oz two stroke oil for about 25 gallons. I buy the gallon jugs of each then pre-mix them into old drinking water bottles and store them in beer six pack cartons.

Some how putting them in beer cartons makes me feel good about the whole thing. :)
