How did you route the cable? Seams like this would be simpler if the cable were about a foot and a half shorter. The instructions from Posi-Lok leave a lot to be desired.
Thanks,
Mike

I thought at first going through the drivers side motor mount would work, but it didn't feel right so went past the mount then curved it back to have good alignment to the axle. I hope I remember this right, the unit works far better then stock. Oh there was a utube video that helped.

Follow the instructions very closely. If it is not aligned or adjusted correctly it will pop back into 2wd and damage the axle shaft.

If you use / depend on 4wd a lot consider a one piece replacement shaft up grade.

The cable shifter is handy for 2 low though.

Thanks fellas. I ended up routing it around the outside of the frame rail and back under as shown in the instructions I'll just pull up the slack and make some good clips for it. If I don't like it after a while I can pull it apart and re-route it I guess. Again, if the cable were 12-18" shorter it seams like it'd be easier to route.
JKosten, I really don't use 4x4 much other than the occasional snow. For me having 2 low is more important, in fact if I could have a 2WD with low range for reverse it'd be just fine.

I used HD zip ties to secure the cable to the axle tube. I wrapped the cable so it would not rub through. Works great
