All ya need is access to a welder and sawsall or cutting torch. Local big truck salvage yard sells brand new 5" stacks all sizes and types-angle/mitre cut, turnouts, straight, $50 each stack. Bought two, pics in readers rigs. Bill

Why are you guys with stacks placing the "Y " above the bed instead of below it?

I'm in your and BGilbert's general area. I bought mine at R and H Mack down in Vincennes for $20 each (new take-offs). I would call around to the local semi joints and ask about buying some take-offs. In Terre Haute there is Russ Fisher's and Illiana Truck Parts, although I have minimal experience with either.

The reason I put the "Y" in the bed was for space around the driveshaft, meaning there isn't enough room to run a pipe over the top of it. Plus you only have to cut one hole in the bed, instead of two this way. I am sure somebody has done it, but for me and the guy that did my exhaust, it just wasn't possible.
