could one of you take a close look at the exhaust housing on your turbo and get the cast in part number off it? I would go to the dealer, but they might not like me crawling all over a new truck.

I was thinking more on the lines of "That Fuggin Jerk that spends way too much time surfin the TDR boards"

But even I can tell when I get bored here..... I start ******* in peoples Cheerios!

Diesel Freak,

The only number I can find on the Exhaust housing is:8061.

there is not a cast number only a painted stamp. I crawled over and under with a mirror. There is a number cast onto the exhaust elbow: E4-01-129. I will pull the turbo next week when the guages come to hook up the EGT pyro. I will give a thourough investigation then... ... ... ... Greg

Autometer Phantom. EGT and Boost (35 psi) They are the same as the ones DD is selling but for about $80 less for the EGT guage. The new pillar mounts will be in next week sometime. Cant wait. I have a hard time driving the new truck not knowing what is going on!!!!

warranty, what voids it

I've got a silly question. What will void the warranty on the engine or turbo or manifold. When I put in the stinger for the pyro is that going to void the manifolds warranty. I would also like to take it off and polish the manifold and turbo housing and coat them, after all that is what I do! But, if I do any or all of this how much warranty am I going to void, just for the turbo and manifold or for the entire engine or what? Any guesses. I know someone will tell me the coatings will make my egt go up, but it will only make the guage read closer to the actual egt,"less heat loss, quicker spoolup" and it will be purdy! Ship date is 11/08 so I've still got time to figure out my dilema?? H/O sport 4dr 4x4 140w/b atlantic blue w/leather.

Greg, you were able to get a 60psi boost gauge like that direct from Autometer? We had to have them specially made. Hmmm.

Wasn't Enterprise engine selling 60psi boost gauges at one time? Could they have been Autometer?

I have a 0/60 Z series from Autometer, but not the new white face obviously.
