Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Question on Auto Trans TSB

I'm wondering if any of the transmission guru's know the details of the work involved or can enlighten me on TSB 21-02-00?



I believe there is a new spacer plate and valve body overhaul involved.



Does anyone know what this does to the transmission, i. e. increase line pressure etc. ?

Tells me a lot about the how-to, but not too much about what this is going to do to the driveability after the new plate is in .



Does the new seperator plate only change the shift points?



Does this increase fluid flow to the torque converter clutch only and would this mean more pressure on the TC clutch and perhaps better cooling (by moving more fluid faster) for the trans fluid ?
