I am installing my FASS pump system and need to know where to put my fuel pressure sensor on/or near the FASS pump. The instructions don't say. Please Help. Oo. Thanks.

PS - I already have existing guages that connect to the original fuel system (pump). Works fine... Changing to the FASS which connects directly to the VP-44 but need to know what to do with my existing sensors so my pressure guage works.

I installed a T fitting prior to the VP and ran a smaller line to my FP sender. The FASS does have a port on it for fuel pressure too, but I wanted my pressure from as close to my VP as possible. I can post a pic when I get off of work if u want.

The FASS manual should tell u which port is for FP on the FASS.

yes could you shoe me that pic please thanks

Here are some pics. I ran braided line from the tank through the FASS and to the VP. I Tee'd off the line aprox 4 inches before the VP and ran a smaller braided line to my sender which is mounted near the brake fluid res. Hope this helps. Let me know if you would like other pics or have any questions.

hi dan i just got my fass put on and gauge are running my problem is i have 13 psi at idle and wot 11 psi is this right or do i need a little more pressure

give it a day or two may just be air in the gauge sender or line.

My FASS idles between 16-17 and WOT I can pull it down to 13. 5. 80mph on the eway I am at 15. 5.

What guage are you using for the fuel pressure? I recently in stalled the FASS 150 and it has a high pitch whine, is considered normal or should it be more quiet? Thanks for info.

wrong

yes i am wrong i have 12 psi and when i put the foot on gas it drops done to 8 psi so there is something wrong i had that with my carter pump 13 psi drops down to 8 psi so should i send it back and get my cash back

If you wish... you have that right. BUT before you do, i would suggest looking for any restrictions as this would cause an issue like you are seeing. OR a gauge that is reading incorrectly... . do you have an isolator? Electric gauge? Both of thoes cause me more headaches than anything with pressure issues. If you confirm your gauge is reading correclty, I would suggest the "5 gallon bucket test" and see if your pressure stays the same or not.

If you want to put pressure up a bit higher... we have a PS-1020 spring that will put out about 19 PSI
