question on ordering parts

My son and i needs to order body parts for a nissan truck, they are asking the right or left. Is the passenger side the right or left. Thanks

I beleive that directions are taken as you are sitting in the drivers seat. Therefore Passenger side would be right. IE; Cars in the UK are right hand drive.
