question on sway bar help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please help i have a 99 3500 4x4 reg cab auto when i purchased it it did not have a sway bar on the rear so i got one from dodge mounts under the shock mounts to two small brackets on each side of the frame with two srtusts now the dilema. I installed a mag hytec rear cover now the bar hits and the directions say only 2wd need spacers the rear of the bar hits the diff cover has anybody ran into this before and does this swaybar sound like it is monuted right i think the cchrysler parts guy got me the wrong bar but that was a year ago nowplease help?????

I just installed a Mag-Hytec on my 01. 5 3500 4x4 with out using the spacer. It sounds like the earlier trucks need the swaybar spacer. I have the instructions for installing the spacer, E-mail me your fax# and I'll send them to you.

Looked at mine, original cover, looks like about three inches between the cover and the sway bar at the bottom. bg
