So I have a 2018 3500 Longhorn with Aisin. Last truck was a 01 so I'm new to this emmisions crap. After spending some time searching through the forum I am a little confused. It sounds as though the '18's are locked down differently making options for tuners different. How exactly is a tuner different when used on a 18 vs previous years? What are my options? I truly only want to get rid of the dead pedal without resorting to adjusting how I drive so if there is anything that can be done that doesn't effect my warrantee then I'm all ears. I'm plenty happy with the overall output aside from horrendous lag/torque management. I've seen talks of throttle tweakers and modifying the fuel rails. Thanks.

I've researched the Stealth module but I am sceptical that it is undetectable with as much data logging as these new trucks are capable. So if there is even a remote chance that I will lose my warrantee than I would rather get a tuner at that point. But being a 2018 I am not even sure what tuners will work.

Get used to saying this "I am my own warranty station" if you add any type of tuner.

I have the same truck in a 15 with zero dead pedal issues.

I have no issues giving up my warrantee if needed. If anything did go wrong it would give me a excuse to trade it in and let someone else deal with it. But I've been reading something about the 18 we're locked down and are not really working with all tuners.

Yes the 2018 have a firewall on the obd2 port. Some tuners have gotten around it. MM3 and RaceMe are 2 that I know of.

2018 Have SGM Secure Gateway Module, It will keep track of Invasions for decades, FCA will Know...and it will stop most intrusions, FCA will also use this new technology to track behavior stored.
