Hi all, been a member for some time and this is my first post. Lots of great info here, but I have come up with questions.
First, if I get the AFE pro guard 7 intake do I still need to get the pipe to the turbo to get rid of the "silencer" vanes?
Second, lots of talk about how 5 inch exhaust kills torque on stock engines. At my age and disability, I don't feel the "need for speed" to "hot rod" the ride that much. Stock works great for my applications so far. I want to get more sound from the rig. Want to add the shortest/loudest muffler available. Drone be darned! In Louisiana I need a muffler to pass the annual inspection. I will stay with a 4 inch(it is there so why not) on my 03 six speeder. But, will adding a 5 inch single stack through the bed kill any torque? That is my question. If so, I may go with a 4 inch pipe after the muffler and dump the exhaust between the cab rear wall and the rear wheel.
