My EZ has been shipped and I should have it in a few days. I wanted to know if I should grease the electrical plugs with dielectric grease when I hook it up?
I wouldn't add anything to what it comes with. On the other hand if you end up taking it off and putting it back on to fool the dealer, then yes I would and do use dielectric grease. It certainly won't hurt anything.
Dielectric grease can be purchased at most any automotive store. Don't feel bad, I never heard of it before I hit the TDR either . I use it on most of my electrical connections. It helps to prevent moisture intrusion and corrosion. Don't be afraid to smear some on your block heater plug and 7 pin plug for the hitch receiver as well.
