Hohn, if it helps, I made 366 RWHP when I had the stage 3 injectors, HX40 and Edge Ez combo. Prettly close to what you are after. I have the step 5 injectors now, love 'em, but they are not for everyone. I towed a bit over 10,000 lbs. this past summer with them and no egt issues as long as I chose the right gear. Did smoke like a coal train under low boost, but that is to be expected ;) .

Scott I heard reports of your truck actually spitting out chunks of coal!!

EDIT: My LSD still spins like an open diff if I have the rear wheels on very different surfaces. If one is one pavement and the other on dirt, I can spin and spin. I am thinking about draining the diff again and going with no modifier at all.....

note:I'm not sure if the Dana 70 is the same as the 80 for this procedure.

For a much stronger LSD you can remove the Diff Carrier from the housing and open it up. Then remove the Clutch plates and re-stack them. The Dana 80 is designed for much larger trucks and when they install them in our trucks they only use about 35-40% of the LSD clutches capability. Their are two types of plates and they only stagger three or four on each side. If you stagger all of them it will be more aggressive. I did this to my axle after it (LSD) was shot and it worked as good as new. All it cost me was new Gear oil and a little sealant. BE SURE to Keep all Bearing shims together and on there respective sides. Also it doesn't hurt to mark the bearing caps so it is easier to put them back in the same as they came out. If you forget to just clean the surface well and you will find the factory marks that show you which cap belongs were and which side is up. If anyone needs the Torque specs call and I can look them up . . 505-534-0434

After removing the Bearing caps my differential came right out. It had 100,000 miles on it. If you have lower mileage on it you may have to pry on it. If it is really tight and doesn't want to come out (Did you remove the Axles??) then you may have to rent a Spreader to get it out and back in.

Last but not least I would not add in any Friction modifier until after you drive it for at least 100 miles to see how it reacts. Many of the gear oils on the market today already have what is needed for a LSD in the oil. And after you do add a little drive it 250 miles before adding more. It takes along time for it to work into the clutches.
