Questions on my 2008 C&C

I have a 2008 Cab & chassis with a flat bead with 120K on it. Being I'm now my own warrant station can the form answer these questions for me.

1.) In my old 92 G-Trag transmission they recommended overfilling the transmission. Is that applicable to the my G56 6 speed and how many quarts does it take to fill the transmission & transfer case?

2.) What synthetic oil are most people recommending instead of using the ATF4+ oil the owner's manual says to use. I have heard of Pennzoil Synchromesh oil??? I can't find anything on what is being used in the transfer case.

Look at past issues of tdr. Somebody did a good write up on the lubes offered and I believe the number 1 choice was a Mobil flavor of some sort.

It is in issue 81 on page 16. It's a full lube comparison for the G56.
