The one thing I do know is that moog offers lifetime warranty on their ball joints and until someone starts making better ones Ill at least go with the free ones. I got everything all latherd in antiseize so a few hours every 2 0r 3 years aint all that bad. i hope to have my lift i next time i do em so then it'll be real easy

Don't worry Scott... Just having a little fun.

Kenny... I called Geno's this AM and the guy I spoke with said that they are in talks with someone that is going to be making some for '01's & '02's. I am not sure what else they fit...

Dynatrac is dragging butt on theirs and from what I can tell on Carli's site they aren't carving any out either.

I sure wish they would.

Free is good... but the labor is no fun.

I think my 96 is gonna be seeing Moogs for the rest of our lives

I'm about 100 miles east of Des Moines, Dave. I get over that way occasionally, but have no plans in the near future. If I do, I'll give you a shout.

I need to find more helium weather balloons and 1/8" steel cable to finish constructing my black helicopter defense system, though. I figure a sudden release of dozens of those balloons tethered by a few hundred feet of thin steel aircraft cable might pose a problem for helicopters. Maybe I can even get some of the old Macy's parade balloons, too. . ? Hmmm... I could send Underdog, Tigger, Spiderman, and all the others up, up, and away to deal with those pesky choppers... ;)

My buddy is in charge of the parade (NYPD) perhaps I can give him a shout and see what I can do for you

nothing new under the sun...

Just when I think I have an original idea  :

Popular Science - Google Books

I was actually looking for a far more recent photo of a pickup towing fighter jet ballons that look very real and like they're doing a strafing run on his truck, but found this article instead.

If your buddy can get me some of those parade balloons (Betty Boop would be nice), tell him to leave the helium in them and I'll just tow them back to Iowa. Maybe I can even float my truck back home and save fuel! How to steer. . ? I'll have to work on that...

They would be mighty handy for undercarriage work for those of us without a hoist...

That's what I'm talkin' about!

I think the missile balloons might actually be what I was thinking of, not fighter jets. They would certainly add more effect to my Black Helicopter Defense System... ;)
