Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Questions

I am planning on killing my KDP in the very near future. I know I read a post recently, either here or in the Magazine about the "other" things I should replace, check or re-do(ie, uppper lower hoses, water pupm etc), while I have the front of the motor off. Can someone direct me to the exact article pertaining to that? Many thanks to you all. Rattle On!!!

A few suggestions:

new crank seal, loctite on gear cover hole, seal lip and crank snout dry (lacquer thinner on the snout)



check for smooth turning of fan hub and belt tensioner (bearings OK?)



remove, clean out holes with solvent, blow dry, loctite in the bolts holding the gear case to the block that are inside--you can see two, and remove two through cam gear windows, one you can only check because it is behind the solid part but if you bend an open end wrench (torch), you can get on the head



also check the cam retainer bolts and oil pump bolts--probably OK



new serpentine belt
