Ok, they called and it is not fixed. They ran out of time. Put in new solinoids and it still does not work right. OH what else...

125K is pretty good on those auto trannys IMO... That is more miles than I ever got out of one in my old 96'.

That is pathetic in my o2. Any transmission on a truck this expensive should go 200 with no problem. I will be irate if it is gone. This truck cost $36,000 and if it wont go 200,000 it was not even close to be worth the money.

The transmission is not gone. It is an electronic issue, not a mechanical issue. The pan picture you sent me was clean. The gray material on the magnet was not excessive, but normal.



The transmission shop will figure it out. They are hitting the obvious stuff first. But should only charge you for what actually was failed.

thanks Fred you have been a ton of help. I will take that email over to them Monday moring I am sure they will find what is wrong. I am sure I will have to buy those solinoids anyway I guess I should get my old ones back too since they probably are good.
