Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Quick radiator drain question????

I havent done it for sometime.



When draining the radiator. How far do you have to turn the petcock for fluid to come out. A gentleman can turn his 1/4 turn but no flow. He tried to poke inside to see if there was some blockage. no go. What is the problem?

Big Daddy T! Just changed mine last week you have to pull out on petcock

while turning counter clock wise will turn about 1/4 - 1/2 turn.

The secret is pulling out on petcock. Put you a hose on petcock that

way no bath. Took me about 4 times before it would drain. Oo.

Pull too hard and it comes all the way out but will push back in. Crappy design.
