2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Quick Seat Replacement Question

I need to replace the seats in a 95 standard cab truck.



What year models can I get seats from that will fit without modification to the brackets.



I think 94 to 01 standard cab, but am not sure. I don't want to buy a set of seats that I can't use.



Any help is appreciated.

I think the style changed in 98 I don't know if they use the same trcks, I will be watching as my drive side seat is shot (again).

You have to enter the year range to search, so that doesnt' help much.







Does anyone know if only the seat style changed or did the bracket/mounts also change in 98.

When I searched for my 2000 2500, it gave me seats from 98 to 2001 (1500, 2500 and 3500 seats) without putting in a range as long as I didn't click the bottom option.

So am I limited to 94-97 seats or will 94-01 work. If anyone has done this please let me know.

Any good salvage yard should be able to tell you what years will fit as they use an interchange manual that will list what years will fit.

Take a look at my seats in my gallery. :--)



I had them recovered by a local interior man. He replaced the cushion in the drivers side, did the extra floor material, new rugs hand stiched the leather & the headliner.

What I'm getting at is its better to R & R than buy used stuff that may or may not last. This is a weak area in our trucks.

I found a good interior guy to do a major upgrade to the place I rest my bottom Oo. on long trips. It turned out REALLY good & its much nicer to park my butt on now.
