Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Quick Spooling turbo

My brother currently has a stock turbo with a banks exhaust housing, he is in the 400-450rwhp range. he wants to keep the quick spool but wants to replace his worked over stocker. He is doing no other mods just wants to add a turbo that is as quick or quicker than what he has. thanks

What are his mods? injectors, modules, etc.

Anytime you go to a larger than stock turbo your not going to spool as fast. Don't get me wrong my SPS 62 spools pretty darn fast, but it not as fast as the stocker did. Two thumbs up for the "Super" Phat Shaft 62... :-laf
