First off, my truck has stock turbo, lift pump and injectors.
I did not try all the settings, but I tested several in 3 1/2 hrs.
With my TST off and my EZ on 2, sw#1, #2, #3, #4 all performed very well and were very driveable, no quirks of any kind. #4 by itself felt as strong as my TST 4/2, EZ 2 (my daily driver settings).
Now I started adding TST 2/2 to sw#4, not any noticeable change, more smoke and my EGT' s jumped about 100f to 1250f, boost was smooth right to 35lbs. where it pegs my gauge.
Next I set TST 4/2 to sw#4, more low end, lots more smoke, and at 25lbs. boost I felt a kick in the pants, (kinda like a shot of nitrous). Tried it again, rolling 3rd gear WOT, YES at 25lbs. boost, bang, just like a shot, pulled hard right to 3200 where I backed out of it.
TST 6/2 TO sw#4, pretty much the same low end, pulled much harder starting at about 15,16lbs boost, more injector rattle and waaaaaaayyy more smoke, and... at 25lbs. boost, this thing launched like a rocket, just as if the turbo was set up in 2 stages. Pulled over, downloaded sw#7, TST off, EZ on 2.
transmission in Drive, OD locked out. No power braking, just rolled off idle and dropped the hammer, travelled about 10' before turbo spooled, broke back tires loose, truck hit 2nd and continued roasting my Toyo's, hit 3rd, thought it was going to spin them right to red line (wont do that again on a narrow 2 lane) I backed out before it stopped spinning, too wild! This setting is crazy!
I drove as normal as I could back to town, peddle to erratic, almost like cruise control taking over, felt like peddle just drops on it own accord when you take off from a dead stop. (sw#6 very similar). I have now downloaded sw#5 and will try it tomorrow.
