Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) quiet performance exhaust

is there a such thing as a 4" quiet performance exhaust system. i have a 5" WITH OUT a flow though muffler its a standard muffler and i still have the drone and its still loud. my thoughts are to step down to a 4"flow through system. I hear banks is the quietest but i am not sure and with a price tag of $575 i want to get some feedback first. If anyone knows of something cheaper thats flow through and quiet please let me know.

I have the 4" turbo back from Stan's Headers. It's the quietest I've heard. I've heard Banks, Jardine's, MBRP and ANSA. It has a big Donaldson straight-through muffler (close to 4' long). They are one of the sponsors on this site. Very happy with it, quieter than stock. Slight increase in mpg. It was less than $400. There is no drone at all, at any gear and rpm. Hope this helps.
