I had a used '98 with quad cab doors that creaked & groaned easily whenever driving over uneven surfaces, and it didn't take my new truck very long to develop the same symptoms. Very annoying and cheap sounding if you ask me, and embarassing whenever anyone is riding along in my very new very expensive gotta last a long time truck #ad

When fiddling several weeks ago I found the squeaky culprit and an easy way to shush it. It is a small sliding plastic piece on the underside of the quad door where the lower latch mechanism is. It is spring loaded and makes contact with the rubber pad you see on the doorsill. Anyway, dust/dirt accumulation in the small track this thing slides in causes the noise. Blast it out with some sort of mild cleaner, then once dry hit it with a spray lube like silicone. This eliminated my creaks & squeaks #ad
Now I won't have to worry about giving my passengers the wrong impression.

I don't know if anyone else experiences this little annoyance but here is the fix #ad
