If you want built in you can't beat the Onan ( it's part of Cummins ). Cummins/Onan has portables,1700,3200 & 4300. they use Robin/Subaru engines in them. Yamaha makes a nice product , 1000, 2400 and 3000. hey also have a 3000 with a booster . Shadrach

I have the Hoda EU2000i as many others do & it's great! I do however have to buy a 2nd one next spring along with a parallel kit & thet will give me the 4000 watts I need to be able to run everything in the 5vr.

I just bought a used Honda eu2000i. It's very quiet, and can be paralleled. They put out 1600 watts continuous, 2000 max for a short period. Quality is good, and I may get a second in time for next summer so I can run the fiver A/C. Bruce

Expect a whole lot of nothing when firing it up. The thing is so damn queit that from a distance you won't even know that it's on. Took my eu3k camping over the holiday weekend and parked my truck next to it to block out what little noise there was coming from it. One of the guys I was camping with was sitting about 100yds away and didn't even realize it was on until I mentioned it. What a great machine! I'm sure you'll like it.

I got it last Thursday and man are those things quiet!! I have been looking at CL every single darn day and haven't seen your ad. Is it in the RV section? Anyway, I still need one more plus the parallel cable and my neighbor wants to buy one too. Do you still have them? Please PM me since I don't read this forum as often as I would like.

I still don't have my darn hood back yet. I think I should have let your friend paint it and put it on for me. I'm pretty sure it would have been done by now.

I have two Onan's they generate electricity at 1800 RPMS which the lawn mower engine jobs are genearting at 3600 RPMS which makes them noiser. I'v seen the Hondas and Yamahas and they are quite.
