We are in Glacier Nat, went on a short hike to a waterfall to show a buddy and his wife a sight they fell in love with.

Along the trail I have seen this before and shown our Family it many times, I showed it to my buddy and his wife and they asked what is that? I told them and several others on the trail said NO WAY. A Park Ranger came with a group and I asked what is this impression in this rock? she told me I was correct.


What do you think this represents ?

Kind of amazing isn't it??

Kemmerer, WY is the fossil fish capitol at dang near 7000' in elevation and the evidence of ancient shorelines can be seen all over Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.

Here are a couple of pics from the top of Delaney Rim a little bit to the Southwest of Wamsutter, WY. The location is in the middle of the Great Divide Basin

Yes it is hard to think about what must have been, we had a young man living with us and for one of his school projects he choose to talk about Dinosaurs. loaded him up in the truck and we went to several places here in Montana that are big time finds of Dinosaurs. Didn't have to talk me into going I like this kind of thing.

Its funny how many people wander around here in Glacier Park looking UP!! and don't pay a damn bit of attention to what they are walking on.
