Dee,My old friend I will miss you.The diesel talk, the stories from times past, and your passion for hauling @ss.
Dee had a passion for fast cars,Fast diesels and antique motorcycles.Dee enjoyed his straight piped 1st gen as
much as his Viper.Tuning your 215 2nd gen to beat your son Todd's (well into tripple didgets) was my pleasure.

Seems like the world loses too many people like your friend Dee every passing day with no one to replace their special place. Sorry for your loss!!

His 3 sons are all diesel fans too,met one son while he was cutting a door in our concrete wall at the plant back ...in 94.Didn't know the rest of them till Dee brought his viper by a few years later. They all have been TDR members at one time or another.Back in 98 or 99 we were hangin out at the TDR event At Glen E Thomas dodge in Long Beach. We Dee.Nowel and I were watching a factory rep-not going to mention his name(retired now) writing down Nowells vin laughin it up and wondering why anyone would want to quiet down their diesel as much as ATP's silenced truck was idling next to us.......

Dee Cameron died this weekend after heart surgery. He was born I think in 1941 and was quickly propped by by his dad John Cameron on the family Crocker. John was one of the original members of the Boozefighters club, whose exploits in Hollister indirectly and infamously led to the sensational movie The Wild One with Marlon Brando. Dee was his father’s son, and carried the torch in his own way by riding fast bikes, drinking whisky and living a life that was worthy of its own book, if not a movie.ole blog it has many high quality photos of my families timeless machines.
