I'm loving this thing now! Traction has become my biggest issue, with my 60' times the worst ever at 1. 8's. I also can't shift out of 4x4 as soon either, as for the first time since I started racing I'm losing traction near the 330' mark.
Sounds like slicks are in your future???? We had very similar problems with the Bullet, then we went to slicks and went to low 1. 60 60 foot. You might want to shoot for the 11s at Spokane. That track wasnt really too worried about running 11s without the cage.
Yeah Pat, the last time we ran there (Diesel Thunder '03), several of us set world records, including my 9+ second run! It's a fun track, but I won't put too much stock in a time slip from there...
I'm trying some other street tires for now, and will keep it in 4x4 longer. I'm having to re-learn how to race it; it's like a different truck.
Pat, I'm sure some of the times are accurate, I've just seen some numbers there that were nowhere close to reality... Of course, if my times look somewhat right, I'll sure take them!
At any rate, Diesel Thunder is always a good time and I'll be there as usual. Jason Burton and Big Bob put on a great event! I remember my first trip out there when you guys had the Silver Bullet and Fuller had his red truck. Both came in on trailers and were the coolest trucks I'd ever seen!

Ahh I remember the day. Too bad that we had to have Jim help us back onto the trailer after we sheared the flex plate. Wish we would have had our new plate in it then. I think we might have had a 11. 60 in it. Oh well could have should have didnt.
