r12 replacements

Did you put in 4 1/2 cans? pulling a vacum is not nesessary as long as there is not a lot of moisture in the system. did a truck today expansion valve compresor cycles at 48 to 53 degrees sunday did two vans with orfice tubes they both got down in the 40s before that my truck it has a orffice tube it was about 90 today cruisen down the highway at 65 it was 36 degrees out of the vents. before that a van with a expansion valve I don't remember the temps I think it was in the 50s got to do some more work on it in the next couple of days I'll see how it's doing

put in 2 1/2 cans in the benz. It calls for 46 oz of r12. Talked to my distributer and EV yesterday. Distributer was worried about the compressor not having enough oil in it and causing hi low side pressures because of a lack of suction ability. He said it could be slightly overcharged but doubts it. EV said I shouldn't have to change expansion valves and to look for a problem in the system.
