Race track

Went racing last night at Mission raceway. Ronda from N. W. Bombers came up and met me to go racing, as our trucks are very close in hp and 1/4 mile times. I wanted to try out the PDR HX35, I installed earlier this week. The DTT gang was also there as they will be racing tommorrow.



Well we went head to head 4 times and my best time was a 14. 89 in the 1/4 mile and 1. 88 in the 60'.



Had a blast launching at 14 to 20psi boost. Boy does the truck hook up at that boost in 4x4.

Ronda was haveing some problems so her times were not upto her usual. Thanks for coming up Ronda, and look forward to racing you again when things get straightened out.

Way to go Mark, sounds like your having a great time with your truck, just the way it should be. It's nice to hear that a old mountain goat like our's can spank 95% of everything on the road, even if you can't see the the other vehicle 2 seconds into the race . How much smoke are you seeing at a idle in park, and while normal driving?, and what color, mine is always smoking, in park, in gear at idle, while driving with lite throttle unless I mash the throttle mine is blue, seems to be smoking more in the last month or so, I'm wondering if mine is timing or a bad injector. But boy can I fog an intersection when my foot get itchy

Hey Mark I was reading on the other site that you will be back at Mission raceway this coming Friday 27th, if so let me know I would'nt mind taking my nephew with me if you plan on being out there, I've already have him hooked on diesel pickups and 60s muscle cars, he's only 10 and he's already pretty cool , if that's ok to say when your 38 years old

I'm going to be there friday about 5:00 pm. Hopeing my truck will be ready by then. Its will be getting alittle work done on it for more top end. Can't seem to break that 90mph barrier in the 1/4 mile no how. My speed at the 1/8 mile is up to 72mph, so i'm only gaining another 18mph in the other half of the track.



Oh yeah, only smokes once in awhile in drive and it isn't bad. Grey/blk. Low boost wot can blow alot of black, but with Piers cam and PDR HX 35 it really clears up. Stephen from DTT said it ran really clean once i was out of the hole.
