Raced a 5.9 R/T Pickup

He got me off the line, but i caught up to him and was right on his butt for awhile. I kept the O/D off button on the whole time. The truck really moves, he must have been thinking "What the hell?" It was from one light to the next, about 2 miles. That 5. 9 is a sweet truck

Just great! Now, this poor guy is going to start belly aching about his slow poke R/T to his friends and on the alt. autos. dodge. trucks newsgroup! He'll probably go back to the dealer and chew them out: "I thought you said this thing was FAST! A freakin' diesel Ram was keeping up with me! What a POS!" Next, he'll start questioning his decision to buy the Ram, saying things like " I should have bought the Lightning. " He'll buy the Lightning, and you'll smoke him again. Now, He'll question his manhood, change his name to Pauline and buy a Yugo!



Seriously though, I love it when people are surprised about the power and speed of these trucks. I really hate the comment "Diesels are so slow, they can't even get out of their own way!" Show 'em, then smoke 'em!
