Cool!. I wasted a Powerlesspuke last week. We were both towing North up I-17, about 20 miles South of Flagtown, AZ. I was breaking in my new EZ (I guess I had the advantage there) towing 7500 lbs. I wasn't paying close enough attention, and had the 'box in 6th. My speed was falling from ~70 down to 60 before I realized it. I shifted to 5th, and was holding 60, but little acceleration when I came around the bend and saw him towing his 6 horse trailer. It wasn't full, but had at least 3 head in it. I got around him and gave him an earful of 4" Cummins exhaust. As the grade smoothed just a bit, I got back to a little over 65, and he was getting slower!!! Never saw him again!!!

Folks, this was with only an EZ on setting 1, and a 4" exhaust. BTW, I never saw more than 1100 degrees on the hot guage, and I had the hammer pressed against my bumper on every hill!!! Gotta love it, baby

If I wanted a stoplight bandit, I'd definitely have a Chebby big block. Oh wait, I had one. It was in my '76 Suburban, and I must say, you guys with DD 3 hundreds and all the boxes PE and VA make put together couldn't take it. But, it did not make it to 400,000 miles, didn't pull grades and get 12-14 miles/gallon doing it (didn't get 12 empty!), and would still be behind that Powerlesspuke on I-17. In fact, I towed 9K lbs from Provo, UT, to Enid, OK, and got 6. 5 mpg. Also, I was in low gear up many of the grades along hwy 50. I didn't get my Cummins to race, tho it holds its ground fairly well. But, as we all know, put something behind it and you can see it smile big
