Your sig shows TST and EZ stack - and you got 'waxed by a riceburner' ? I would have thought you would be making some serious power, how fast is the truck? Thats disappointing to think you've done just about the most powerful stack out there and can't beat a ricer.

What kind of speed where you running??? You probably needed to be in OD instead of D... Remember your truck is not much better than most cars when it comes to HP, so you have to get into a taller gear and let the monster torque take over instead... RPM's aren't your friend with these torque monsters, let it chug and pull...

Weight

You weigh about 7500 lbs, the explorer weighs about 4500. F=ma - no way around it you have a LOT of 'm'. You need about 1. 6 times the power of the explorer for the same acceleration - sounds like thats about what you have based on the race which sounds realistic (assume the explorer has 200 ish? at the rear wheels, you have 320 ish?). Now hook a 3000lb trailer to the explorer and the result would be more what you are hoping for .

i have a stock 97 215hp 2500. my brother just bought a 98 explorer(he isnt ready for a REAL TRUCK yet). his thing seems to be about the same speed wise but we havent raced. i just tell him we should hook the together and pull but he doesnt have a tow pkg :-laf
